What You Need to Know

We've partnered with Virginia Western Community College (VWCC) to provide your state-approved Dental Radiation training. We cover the cost, and you'll get access the week after clinic 3. We'll post an announcement on Canvas when it's ready.

Don't Miss This

Create your VWCC profile before clinic 3, and don't pay for the course. We cover the cost. Finish the course before clinic 9.

If you don't pass the VWCC Dental Radiation Exam, you don't pass Accelerated Academy and won't receive a certificate from us. Don't wait until the last minute.

Your Step-by-Step

Create your VWCC profile. Before clinic 3. Don't pay. We'll pay once your profile is created.
Work through the modules. Self-paced. Use a computer if you can. On an iPad, download the Canvas Student and LockDown Browser apps. Review each video and lecture before the unit quiz. You get up to three attempts per quiz.
Take the final exam. You'll have 1 hour and need 75% or higher. If you score lower, your instructor reopens it the next business day.
Get your certificate. VWCC emails certificates every two weeks once you pass. It's pass/fail, and all requirements must be met.
