How to Become a Pharmacy Technician
- Be at least 17 years old
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Complete a Board-approved pharmacy technician training program (a PTCB-recognized course is accepted)
- Submit a license application to the Florida Board of Pharmacy
- Pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting
- (Optional) Pass the PTCE to become nationally certified
- Renew your license every two years
